According to Frank Gielissen, CEO of Aloxy, The Beacon is a great place for a startup for different reasons, it provide good facilities like boardrooms cantina, coffee corners and is located in the center of Antwerp attractive to young employees fresh out of University.

The interview highlights the business relation between companies in the port of Antwerp and The Beacon, Aloxy deals with many of them. It is ideal for Aloxy to have their clients close-by and willing to corporate from the early start of developing new technology. For the Companies like BASF, Advario, and other port companies it is important that start-ups explore the new technologies and really explore new solutions to existing problems.

The Aloxy valve position solution is a great example of new innovative technology as it solves an existing challenges around customized brackets and cumbersome installation procedures.
