We are happy to announce the expansion of Aloxy in North America, where Michael Mayer has been appointed as ‘Managing Director North America’. North America has already been a focal point for Aloxy during the last 2 years with several key accounts in the US using the Aloxy manual valve monitoring solution and a growing number of trials.

Michael Mayer has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University and in-depth experience in O&G throughout various roles. Starting as afield engineer and quickly developing into a Vice President of Engineering role, Michael has developed strong leadership skills. As a VP of Engineering,Michael came across Aloxy and was instantly sold on the technology and impressed with the simplicity of the solution.

Aloxy is a scale up business from Antwerp,Belgium. As a spinoff from the University of Antwerp and IMEC, Aloxy has developed a unique solution to monitor manual valves using a battery-operated wireless sensor in combination with middle ware in the Aloxy IIoT Hub, Aloxy is able to provide a low-cost sensor for every type of manual valve. The AloxyIIoT Hub is a platform to connect the sensor, third party sensors and different network protocols such as DASH7 and LoRaWAN.
