Are you tired of the complexities involved in installing and calibrating valve sensors? Meet the Aloxy Pulse Sensor - the most user-friendly solution on the market!
"To every problem there is a most simple solution" The Aloxy pulse sensor can be installed on any type or size of manual valve. The sensor tracks the movement and provides the full open, closed and intermediate position in real time wirelessly!
Why Choose Aloxy Pulse Sensor?
Quick Installation and universal Fit
With 2 minutes to install and calibrate the Aloxy Pulse, this is by far the most user-friendly sensor to install. Equally important is to review the total installed cost, the Aloxy pulse sensor is universal and therefore no initial field survey is needed to determine type (gate, globe, ball, gear operated, etc…) and size of the manual valves. Also, no measurement of valve topworks is needed to design and order customized brackets and mounting materials making it not only the easiest to install but also the easiest to order.
The only requirement for a proper fit is that the sensor is firmly mounted to the handwheel or lever. This allows any type of clamp or strap to be suitable.
Wireless Monitoring
The Aloxy Pulse uses LoRaWAN wireless communication and is battery operated so no wires needed. LoRaWAN is a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technology. Because of this technology the Battery is relatively small and can still be used up to 10 years. This reduces initial hardware cost significantly.
Effortless Calibration
The Aloxy pulse is designed to be user friendly, with local pushbuttons the calibration is done in seconds, additionally an Aloxy App is available to do this via your Mobile device in case preferred. The App requires only valve type and valve position and communicates to the sensor via NFC, one touch is sufficient to transfer the calibration data.
When talking to industry experts we also learned that manual valves cannot always be operated on demand and therefore the Aloxy sensor can be installed in one position during mounting and starts monitoring that position. When the valve is operated at a later stage (no time restrictions) the sensor will auto calibrate the opposite position or this can be done manually depending on the valve type.
Alerts and Notifications
Once the sensor is installed and calibrated, it will communicate on event (physical movement of the valve) and on a configurable interval (heartbeat). The latter is to make sure to monitor the connection.
If the sensor is removed unauthorized or for some other reason acts unexpected (e.g., frequent missed heartbeats, frequent re-transmission to the network, connection loss, high vibrations, high energy consumption) an event is created in the dashboard to alert the user the latest data might be invalid. These event not only make the data more reliable but also make it easier to manage many sensors without the need to be in the field checking every sensor. Aloxy makes a distinction between sensor related events and network related events to clearly understand where the issue and solution needs to be found.
